This year HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design at University of Gothenburg, offers two international summer courses both by distance education (online) delivered in English, free to EU nationals. 15 ECTS-credits each: Introduction to Contemporary Art and Politics (VFSPOL) and Art and Politics—On Friendship and the Political Imaginary (FKAKPO).

Konstfacks samarbete med HDK-Valand innebär att doktorander vid Konstfack antas till HDK-Valands forskarutbildning med slutmål konstnärlig doktor. För närvarande har Konstfack fyra doktorander i konstnärlig forskning antagna vid HDK-Valand, tre i ämnet design och en i ämnet konsthantverk.
